They include Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl, who erupted for 5 points in Game

Oilers and Ducks Both Seek Redemption in Another Game 7 –
By ANDREW KNOLLMAY 9, 2017
ANAHEIM, Calif. — When the Anaheim Ducks and the Edmonton Oilers face off in Game 7 of their second-round series on Wednesday,
there will be no shortage of contrast between their histories, their captains and, when the contest is settled, their fates.
Each of the past four years, they have lost Game 7 at home — to Detroit in Round 1 in 2013, to Los Angeles in
Round 2 in 2014, to Chicago in the conference finals in 2015, and to Nashville in the first round last year.
But the physically imposing Getzlaf offers challenges of his own, having scored 10 of his 15 playoff points in the first five games of this series.
McDavid was the league’s leading scorer during the regular season, with 100 points,
but Getzlaf has been arguably the most dominant player in the postseason.
He played on McDavid’s wing for much of the season,
but in Games 5 and 6, he centered a line of his own and provided solid defense, often against Getzlaf.
